Does xbox original mashed:fully loaded work for 360?

Used to love this game back on the old playstation 2, but since the new generation consoles I have wisely converted to the xbox 360. Would love to play it again as great multiplayer game to play with bunch of mates.

Thinking of buying the xbox original version of mashed: fully loaded. Im aware that not all original xbox games work for the 360. Now its NOT listed on the official xbox compatible site, HOWEVER, wikipedias information on the game says the first game of mashed doesnt work, but the sequel (fully loaded) does.

Wikipedia isnt ‘fully’ accurate and id rather take the word from the official xbox site. But is there anyone else out there that can confirm mashed fully loaded works for the 360, europe version.

Give me sources if possible please

I personally wouldnt have converted to the 360, due to it’s poor backwards compatibility. for example the wii and original PS3(the one that had BC) had backwards compatibility, that could play any Gamecube(for the wii) and all PS2 and PS1 games(PS3) without these complicated release time problems. but, it was your choice, not mine. :P
the thing with the xbox 360′s backwards compatibility is that the game from the original xbox, had to have come out within a specific time span of the 360, it had to have been a pretty new game on the xbox, or more recently, Microsoft had an update to bring in more games that are backwards compatible, so now, of all of the games from the xbox, 478 of them are compatible with the 360. that’s 51% of the library.

with that aside, apparently yes, it is backwards compatible with the 360. look at this site.

i still dont know why they couldnt’ve made all the games compatible.
